Sjölin Consulting is run by Marcus Sjölin, who built and ran an e-commerce business from zero to SEK 54 million – and has worked with security and compliance from first principles to CISO and CTO.
Background
I built this company – and companies before it
Ten bought-in phones and SEK 50,000 in starting capital became SEK 54 million in revenue in three years, with sales across much of Europe and no employees on the payroll. That is not a strategy slide. It is what happens when automation, integrations and discipline are built properly from the start – and when nobody else is going to fix the problems for you.
Along the way I have worked with banks and the automotive industry, where traceability, audit and reliability are not optional. And with small companies where the budget is tight and the decision is made by the person sitting next to you. Both have shaped how we work.

The team
More than me – when the assignment needs deeper analysis
Some assignments need one experienced person who can hold the whole picture. Others need several specialists at once: a security architect, a data protection lawyer, a developer who has built the same integration before. We bring in people we have worked with before, and we tell you who does what.
We also have contacts and partners in the EU, Asia and the US – for international expansion, sourcing and local requirements.
What we are not: we are not a law firm and not a staffing agency. We are the people who take responsibility for the whole – and say so when something is outside our competence.
